Break Blade

Broken Blade also known as Break Blade, is a Manga graphic novel series that started off in 2007. The graphic novel series Break Blade is in the news now because the whole series is going to be made into animated movies that are going to be released soon. The trailers of the Break Blade animation are easily available on You Tube.

The plot of the Break Blade series is that in a world that is inhabited with people who can use magic, Rygart is born. Rygart is the main character of the seires and the human who cannot use magic at all. The people of the Break Blade world are experts at using magic to manipulate quartz to make it do many things. Rygart doesn’t have this ability and this makes him uncomfortable in the society. He has trouble in many activities and he tries his best to fit in.

In his struggle to fit in Rygart becomes friends with three people; Hodr, Sigyn and Zess. Hodr and Sigyn are future king and queen of Krisna whereas Zess is the war secretary of Athens Commonwealth.

Everything seems to be going well when all of a sudden a war erupts between the two empires; Krisna and Athens Commonwealth. The result is that ultimately Rygar has to choose between his two friends Hodr and Zess. But between all this commotion Rygar also discovers that due to his lack of magic abilities he is able to pilot an ancient Mecha. Mechas are large mechanical robotic structures used for wars and they are the exact ones that Zess is leading to attack Krisna.
