Gallbladder Removing Surgery For Kevin Rudd
The ex Prime Minister of Australia, Kevin Rudd was admitted to a hospital. Rudd was taken to the hospital on Friday, the 30th of July, 2010. The fifty two year old former PM will go through a surgery relating to his gallbladder. According to sources the doctors will remove his gallbladder. The doctors suggested that Rudd will stay in the hospital for a few more days for a period of peaceful recovery.
Kevin Rudd was rushed to a private hospital which is situated in Brisbane when he experienced agonizing abdominal pain. Several tests were conducted by the doctors. The news regarding the ailment of K Rudd was made public by an official statement which was released by his office.
Previous month, Kevin Rudd was replaced by the new Prime Minister Julia Gillard on the 24th of June 2010. Nowadays an array of media leaks has badly affected the general elections campaign of the Labor Party. The elections are scheduled for the 21st of August, 2010. Patrick Gorman a representative of Rudd expressed that the former PM was not the source of the any such leaks. In addition Gorman stated that Rudd was not involved in any kind of decisions which opposed the policies of paid parental leaves. Furthermore the spokesperson revealed that Rudd did not want to change the family friendly policies of the state.
On Friday, in a press conference, Julia Gillard said that the party strongly wishes him a “speedy recovery”. She stated that when Rudd will recover he would rejoin the “campaign efforts”.
