The Who Drummer
An English Rock band which was formed in 1964 known as “Who” had performed at the 44th Super Bowl’s half time. The band’s most popular and well-known member is Zak Starkey who is also known as the “The Who Drummer”. Zak had replaced Keith Moon as the drummer and became the band member after the death of Keith. The other band members are Pino Palladino, Simon Townshend and John “Rabbit” Bundrick.
Along with their songs they are also known for making the instrument destruction. This band had sold almost 100 records and is ranked at the top 40 singers in United States and United Kingdom with top 17 albums. They had received 18 gold, 12 platinum and 5 multi-platinum awards in the United States.
They performed their best of the best songs at the half time of the 44th Superbowl and rocked the Superbowl field and fully entertained the people present there. The songs include “Pinball Wizard”, “Baba O’Riley” “Who are you?” and many more. Starkey is the 15 year veteran of the touring version of the Who band. He is a regarded rock sideman.
Zac started his career at the age of 12. He performed his first professional gigs at the British Pub with his band “Next”. In 1985 he united his band with the Spencer Davis Group, which was lead by Steve Winwood. In 1994 Zac performed with Daltrey at his tour. He had also performed on the solo albums of Entwistle.
