Nicole Powell

Nicole Powell was a standout basketball player at the Stanford University. She is now plays for the New York Liberty team in the WNBA. According to the sports columnist and Truthdig contributor Mark Heisler said,

“The NBA All-Star Game has become something that you endure rather than an event to enjoy.”

Due to the starting of All-Star games, Nicole Powell is also participating in the competition. The atmosphere in Dallas is absolutely rocking and wonderful. Powell is also excited and waiting for this event, she shared his thoughts and said,

“I really didn’t find out until the last minute with the schedule because I wasn’t sure if I would be able to get away from my Turkish team for the weekend but it worked out."

Now a days, Nicole powell has been serving and collburated with the turkish woemn’s basketball league championship. Her contribution results a victory for the Turkish women’s basketball. In 2003, Powell assisted the United States women’s natioanl basketball teanm. The team ahs won the siver medal at the Pan American Games in Santo Domingo, Domincian Republic. In the upcoming Dallas Slam Dunk competition , Powell said,

“It’s gonna be a lot of fun. I think we have a pretty good chance. I think that everyone is kinda sleeping on us to tell you the truth. We’re gonna use that to our advantage because the home team is a bit stacked. So we’re just gonna sneak in under the radar I think… So I’m counting on [Webber] to lead us because this is my first time doing it and Tyreke is a rookie."
