The American Idol is once again in the front line with its ninth season. Last night, on Tuesday, the third round of the season was held. 71 contestants were supposed to be tested for their talent. Out of them only 24 managed to qualify and they were the Top 24 contestants of the American Idol Season 9. Shelby is one of the contestants of this season American Idol. She has a jaw problem since birth. Her problem is at such extreme that she cannot even smile properly. During her past auditions she managed really well. In fact she was successful in impressing a large audience. Last night, things didn’t go the way Shelby wanted them to go. She sang a song of Norah Jones called “Turn me on”. Unfortunately, Shelby forgot the lyrics. Despite the big mistake Shelby didn’t let confusion cover her face and she used a word; instead. This was clever on her part. But she was not successful in making the judges believe that she was not only talented but also a clever performer. Shelby is an extremely talented singer; moreover, her voice is so pure and sweet that one cannot resist listening to her when she starts singing. But her mistake on such a big stage can’t be forgiven so easily. We will have to wait for some time to see if she made it to the top 24 or not. The official results are not known yet, but a number of websites have already published the predicted or expected results.
