Vivo appears to be gearing up for the introduction of the Vivo X70 series, following the success of the Vivo X60 series, which debuted in December of last year. According to a fresh source, the X series’ next generation of smartphones might be released as early as September.
According to a rumour from Gizmochina, the Vivo X70 series will debut in India in September in collaboration with the Indian Premier League, which Vivo also sponsors.
The IPL is set to resume in the UAE between September and October, verifying that the timeframe is accurate. The actual date of the launch is still unknown, but as we approach September, fresh leaks are likely to surface.
The specs of the Vivo X70 series will be relatively similar to the X60 series, according to the publication’s source, making it more of an incremental boost from last year’s X60 series.
The Vivo X70 Pro+ was believed to be the top-of-the-line smartphone in the series, featuring a 4500mAh battery and 66W fast charging capabilities back in April. The Vivo X70 Pro+ is rumoured to include a 1/1.28-inch sensor, and the firm may once again collaborate with Zeiss on the cameras.
In addition, the Vivo X70 Pro+ is likely to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, which is the same as its predecessor.
